Topic 1 · Introduction
A physician must report a patient to the DMV when the patient:
- Has needed glasses for more than five years
- Is at least 14 years old and has a condition such as a lapse of consciousness — correct answer
- Is over 65 and takes any prescription medication
Why
Physicians are required to report patients of at least 14 years old for medical conditions that may affect the ability to drive safely, such as lapses of consciousness. (Section 5, Health.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
