Topic 1 · Introduction
From May 2025, you need a REAL ID compliant license or ID card to:
- Board a domestic flight, enter a military base or enter most federal facilities — correct answer
- Register a vehicle in another state
- Drive on interstate highways outside California
Why
REAL ID compliance is about federal identification, not about driving: domestic flights, military bases and most federal facilities. (Section 1, REAL ID Driver's License.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
