Under California law, a 'pedestrian' includes:
- Only a person travelling on foot
- A person using a wheelchair, tricycle or quadricycle for transportation because of a disability — correct answer
- Anyone outside a motor vehicle, including cyclists
Why
The glossary defines a pedestrian as a person walking, and also a person with a disability using a tricycle, quadricycle or wheelchair for transportation. (Section 14, Glossary.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
