Topic 1 · Introduction
What is the purpose of practice tests before the DMV exam?
- To memorize questions for the real exam
- To understand the test format and identify weak areas — correct answer
- To avoid studying the handbook
Why
Practice tests show you the format and, more usefully, expose which topics you have not actually learned.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
