A child in a rear-facing child restraint system:
- May not ride in the front seat of a vehicle equipped with an airbag — correct answer
- May ride in front once they weigh 30 pounds
- May ride in front if the seat is properly secured
Why
The handbook is explicit: a rear-facing restraint may not go in the front seat of an airbag-equipped vehicle. (Section 8, Child Restraint System and Safety Seats.)
Practise this in the real format
