A Class C license does NOT allow you to operate:
- A regular van
- A 3-wheeled motorcycle
- A large bus — correct answer
Why
Buses need a commercial license. Class C stops at passenger vehicles, light trucks and vanpools up to 15 people. (dmv.ca.gov/dl — Section 1 of the handbook refers you there for the vehicles a Class C covers.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
