Topic 2 · Requirements and Process
A provisional license is marked as such to indicate:
- It is not valid for driving
- The driver is under 18 and subject to extra restrictions — correct answer
- The license expires in 1 year
Why
The word 'provisional' on the license tells any officer that the passenger and night-driving restrictions apply to this driver. (Handbook, Section 2.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
