If you turn 18 with a permit, which requirement is waived?
- Proof of identity
- The 6-month holding period — correct answer
- The need for a driving test
Why
Turning 18 removes the six-month permit holding period. The knowledge, vision and drive tests still apply. (Handbook, Section 2.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
