A single solid white line marks:
- Traffic lanes going in the same direction, including on one-way streets — correct answer
- The edge of a bicycle lane only
- The center of a two-way road
Why
Single solid white lines separate lanes travelling the same way. Yellow is what separates opposing directions. (Section 6, Lane Markings.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
