Adjusting your speed for conditions means:
- Driving at a speed that is safe for current weather, traffic, and road conditions — correct answer
- Always driving at or above the posted speed limit
- Matching your speed to the fastest vehicles
Why
The Basic Speed Law: the legal speed is the one that is safe right now, which in rain, fog or heavy traffic is below the posted limit. (Handbook, Section 8.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
