After a crash, a police report:
- Is the only report you must file
- Does not replace your requirement to file with the DMV — correct answer
- Means you do not need to contact your insurance
Why
A police report does not discharge your own duty. Each driver must file the SR 1 with DMV within 10 days. (Handbook, Section 10.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
