A license restriction placed by the DMV must be:
- Reasonable and necessary for your safety and that of others — correct answer
- Reviewed by a court before it takes effect
- Identical for every driver with the same condition
Why
Restrictions exist so a driver operates within their ability, and the handbook requires them to be reasonable and necessary for everyone's safety. (Section 12, Driver's License Restrictions.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
