After a DUI arrest, how long is the temporary license issued by the DMV typically valid?

Why
When an officer takes your license after a DUI arrest, the temporary license they issue lasts 30 days. You have 10 days from the arrest to request a DMV hearing. (Handbook, Section 9 — DUI Arrests.)
