If convicted of DUI causing injury or death, penalties may include:
- No more than a fine
- Felony charges and prison time — correct answer
- Community service only
Why
The handbook warns that causing serious injury or death while impaired exposes you to civil lawsuits (Section 9). Under the Vehicle Code the offense also escalates to a felony, with prison time.
Practise this in the real format
