After leaving the scene of a collision, you should:
- Wait for police to contact you
- Report to your insurer and, if required, the DMV — correct answer
- Do nothing if damage is minor
Why
Notify your insurer promptly, and file the SR 1 with DMV if anyone was hurt or damage exceeded $1,000. (Handbook, Section 10.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
