Topic 4 · Defensive Driving and Safe Driving Practices
Blind spots are the areas:
- Covered by the windshield pillars only
- Ahead of you, hidden by the hood
- Beside and behind your vehicle that the mirrors do not show — correct answer
Why
The handbook maps the space around the vehicle: ahead, next to you, the blind spots, and behind. Only a shoulder check covers the blind spots. (Section 8, Be Aware of Your Surroundings.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
