Topic 7 · Insurance and Financial Responsibility
DMV can electronically verify your insurance status through:
- Reports from your insurance company — correct answer
- Social media posts
- Your credit card statements
Why
Insurers report coverage to DMV directly, which is how a lapse triggers a registration suspension without anyone reporting you.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
