Drivers under 18:
- May use a hands-free device
- Cannot use a phone at all while driving except in an emergency — correct answer
- May text if stopped in traffic
Why
A provisional driver may not use a phone while driving at all — not even hands-free. The only exception is an emergency call.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
