Driving with an expired driver's license is:
- Allowed for 30 days after expiry
- Against the law — correct answer
- Allowed if the renewal is already paid
Why
There is no grace period in the handbook: it is against the law. (Section 4, Replace or Renew Your Driver's License.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
