During a traffic break, you may return to your normal speed:
- Once the officer turns off the emergency lights and traffic allows it — correct answer
- After 30 seconds have passed
- As soon as the road ahead looks clear
Why
You must not drive past the patrol vehicle or speed up until the officer switches off the emergency lights and conditions let you resume normal speed. (Section 8, Law Enforcement Traffic Breaks.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
