If the wind is too strong to drive safely, the handbook suggests:
- Following a large truck to break the wind
- Pulling over and waiting for the storm to pass — correct answer
- Driving slowly on the shoulder
Why
Being proactive means accepting that stopping may be the safer choice. (Section 8, High Winds.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
