Topic 8 · Emergencies and Unforeseen Situations
During a traffic stop, passengers should:
- Stay quiet and keep hands visible — correct answer
- Get out of the car to help the driver
- Reach for documents on behalf of the driver
Why
Passengers should stay quiet with their hands in view. Sudden movements from anyone in the car raise the tension of the stop.
