If you are preparing for the written DMV exam, you should:
- Skip practice questions
- Study each section of the manual carefully — correct answer
- Only study road signs
Why
Work through the handbook section by section. The test is drawn from it directly, so nothing on it comes from anywhere else. (Handbook, Section 3.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
