If you are under 18, how long must you hold a permit before taking the driving test?
- No waiting period
- At least 6 months — correct answer
- At least 3 months
Why
Under 18 you must hold the permit at least six months (or turn 18) before the drive test can be scheduled. (Handbook, Section 2.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
