If you need to change a tire on a busy road, you should:
- Let other drivers know by waving your arms
- Only do so if you are far off the roadway and safe — correct answer
- Change it wherever your car stops
Why
Only change a tire if you are genuinely clear of the roadway. Otherwise wait for assistance — a roadside lane is not a workshop.
