Topic 4 · Defensive Driving and Safe Driving Practices
What is the purpose of using your horn as a quick honk?
- To express anger at slow drivers
- To warn another driver of a potential hazard — correct answer
- To ask for directions
Why
The horn is a warning device: a short tap to make someone aware of you before a hazard develops. It is not for expressing annoyance.
