When using GPS navigation while driving, the safest practice is to:
- Look at the screen frequently while driving
- Set your route before driving and use voice prompts — correct answer
- Ask other drivers for directions at stoplights
Why
Set the route before you move and follow the voice prompts. Typing a destination while driving is as distracting as texting.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
