Topic 1 · Introduction
Which vehicle requires a Class M license rather than Class C?
- A pickup truck
- A 2-wheel motorcycle — correct answer
- A small SUV
Why
Two-wheeled motorcycles require Class M. Three-wheeled ones are covered by Class C. (dmv.ca.gov/dl — Section 1 of the handbook refers you there for the vehicles a Class C covers.)
