Topic 2 · Requirements and Process
You are under 18 and fail the knowledge test. How long must you wait before retaking it?
- 30 days
- 24 hours
- 7 days, not counting the day you failed — correct answer
Why
Minors must wait seven days to retake a failed knowledge test, not including the day of the failure. You get three attempts before you must reapply. (Handbook, Section 3.)

Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
