What must you do to renew an expired California driver’s license?
- Renew by mail, online, or in person (may require vision or written test) — correct answer
- No renewal is needed
- Apply for a new instruction permit
Why
Renewal can be by mail, online or in person depending on your record and age, and may require a vision or knowledge test. (Handbook, Section 4.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
