You may legally turn left on red only when:
- Turning onto a highway
- There is no traffic
- Turning from a one-way street onto another one-way street — correct answer
Why
A left turn on red is legal in California only from a one-way street onto another one-way street, after stopping and yielding. Every other left on red is prohibited.
