You plan to turn shortly after crossing an intersection. You should signal:
- Only after you have completely crossed it
- Before entering the intersection, so drivers see it early
- When you are almost through the intersection — correct answer
Why
Signalling before the intersection would suggest you are turning at the intersection itself. Signal when you are almost through it. (Section 5, Signaling.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
