A California ID card:
- Identifies you but does not permit you to drive — correct answer
- Works as a provisional license for six months
- Is only issued to people over 18
Why
ID cards are issued for identification to eligible persons of any age, and they do not permit you to drive. (Section 1, ID Cards.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
