A DMV-issued self-insurance certificate is usually for:
- Fleet owners who cover claims themselves — correct answer
- Teen drivers only
- Anyone with a clean record
Why
Self-insurance is a DMV certificate for operators of large fleets who can demonstrate they are able to cover claims directly.
Practise this in the real format
