A driver under 21 is caught with a BAC of 0.05%+. What can happen?
- License suspension and possible misdemeanor DUI charge — correct answer
- Only a fine
- No penalty
Why
If a test shows 0.05% or higher and you are under 21, you can be arrested for DUI and your driving privilege suspended. (Handbook, Section 9 — Drivers Under 21.)
