A Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) officer may be called when:
- Drug DUI is suspected — correct answer
- A parking ticket is issued
- Car registration is expired
Why
A DRE is called when impairment is suspected but alcohol does not explain it. Drug impairment is prosecuted the same as alcohol impairment.
Practise this in the real format
