If you are under 21 and possess alcohol in a car (without a parent/guardian), what is a possible penalty?
- License suspension for one year — correct answer
- No penalty
- A warning only
Why
The court may fine you and suspend your license for one year — or delay your first license by a year if you do not have one yet. (Handbook, Section 9.)
