Cognitive disorders such as dementia, a seizure disorder or Parkinson's disease:
- Present a significant challenge to safe driving and may cost the ability to drive safely — correct answer
- Only matter if a physician reports them
- Are irrelevant as long as the driver feels well
Why
The handbook names dementia, seizure disorder, brain tumor, Parkinson's disease, stroke and vertigo. A referral or diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment triggers a reexamination. (Section 12, Reexamination.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
