A pregnant driver should wear the lap belt:
- Only the shoulder strap, leaving the lap belt off
- Above the abdomen, across the waist
- As low as possible under the abdomen, with the shoulder strap to the side of the bulge — correct answer
Why
Low under the abdomen for the lap belt, and the shoulder strap between the breasts and to the side of the bulge. (Section 8, Seat Belts.)
Practise this in the real format
