When another vehicle suddenly brakes or swerves, you should:
- Honk and expect them to move out of the way
- Drive closer to observe what is happening
- Have an escape plan and maintain space around your vehicle — correct answer
Why
Keep an escape route. Space on at least one side means a sudden problem ahead has somewhere to go other than into you.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
