Leaving a child or an animal in a parked car in the sun is dangerous because:
- The temperature inside rises rapidly, even with a window slightly open — correct answer
- The seats can reach a temperature that burns
- The air conditioning stops working
Why
Too much heat exposure leads to dehydration, heat stroke and death, and leaving a window ajar does not prevent it. (Section 8, Unattended Children and Pets.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
