After a tire blowout, once the vehicle is stable you should:
- Continue slowing down and pull off the road where it is safe — correct answer
- Stop in the lane and switch on the flashers
- Drive at normal speed to the nearest exit
Why
Stabilize first, then slow down and leave the road where and when it is safe to do so. (Section 8, Tire Blowouts.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
