If strong wind is affecting your steering, you should:
- Slow down and be prepared for gusts, especially in high-profile vehicles — correct answer
- Ignore it and drive normally
- Drive faster to get through windy areas quickly
Why
Slow down and expect sudden gusts, especially leaving a tunnel, crossing a bridge or passing a truck. High-sided vehicles are pushed hardest.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
