During a front-wheel (understeer) skid, you should:
- Accelerate quickly
- Turn the wheel sharply
- Ease off the gas and lightly tap brakes if needed — correct answer
Why
In understeer the front tires have lost grip, so more steering does nothing. Ease off the gas to let them bite again before asking them to turn.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
