If you are caught in a skidding situation, you should avoid:
- Steering gently
- Easing off the gas
- Braking hard — correct answer
Why
Hard braking locks the wheels, and a locked wheel cannot steer. Ease off instead and steer where you want to go.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
