Flashing your headlights can be used to:
- Blind other drivers intentionally
- Replace the use of turn signals
- Communicate with other drivers, such as letting them merge or warning them — correct answer
Why
A brief flash is a legitimate signal — letting someone merge, or warning of a hazard. It is not a way to hurry the driver ahead.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
