If a police officer suspects you are impaired by drugs, they may:
- Request a blood or urine test — correct answer
- Ignore it if you’re not drinking
- Only issue a speeding ticket
Why
Officers may require a blood or urine test for drugs, even if you already passed a breath test — breath testing does not detect drugs.
