Topic 2 · Requirements and Process
If you are 18 or older, you must:
- Complete driver education
- Get a permit and pass the tests, but no 6-month waiting period — correct answer
- Complete 50 hours of practice
Why
Adults still need a permit and must pass the knowledge, vision and drive tests, but the six-month permit holding period does not apply. (Handbook, Section 2.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
