On renewal, a driver with a vision or medical condition may be required to take:
- A commercial knowledge test
- A written test in a DMV office only
- A behind-the-wheel drive test — correct answer
Why
The original license always requires the drive test; on renewal it can be required when there is a vision or medical condition. (Section 3.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
