To practice driving with a permit, the supervising adult must:
- Follow you in another car
- Sit in the front passenger seat at all times — correct answer
- Be in the car, but not in the front seat
Why
The supervising driver must sit close enough to take control of the vehicle if needed — in practice, the front passenger seat. (Handbook, Section 2.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
